In line with the 360° approach to sustainability, the GCB assumes responsibility for Germany as a meetings destination with all its stakeholders, acts as a problem solver and source of inspiration, and provides platforms for knowledge transfer. The GCB sees sustainable business practices as an indispensable prerequisite for future viability. From this derives the claim to shape and consistently develop its own organisation with a view to all dimensions of sustainability. The GCB supports the German federal government's guiding principle for the promotion of sustainable development and uses the UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals, the EU Green Deal, and the "Net Zero Carbon Events" initiative as orientation.
