The GCB has been Green Globe certified since 2015, with Gold status since 2019. Green Globe is the first global certification and performance improvement program developed specifically for the travel and tourism industry. The Green Globe Certification Standard provides a professional, industry-appropriate framework for comprehensively assessing corporate sustainability performance based on the three pillars of environmental performance, social responsibility and economic viability. It helps improve economic, social and environmental sustainability. The assessment is conducted by an accredited, independent auditor.
