With 12,000 sqm of exhibition space, 12,000 sqm of foyer space and 12,000 seats in up to 50 halls and rooms, the new CCH is in a perfect shape for the varying requirements of today's conventions and events.

The people of Hamburg are known not only for their straightforwardness, cosmopolitan attitude and warmth but also for their understatement. But when it comes to the CCH – Congress Center Hamburg, understatement just doesn't hit the mark. Why? Because the new CCH is unique. As one of Europe’s most advanced and largest convention centers with 36,000 square meters of available space, it breaks the mold.

The number "12,000" has an almost magical significance: 12,000 square meters of event space. 12,000 square meters of foyer space. And 12,000 visitors who can attend events at the CCH simultaneously. The complex can provide up to 50 multifunctional halls for conventions and events of any kind, spread across four levels and three event sections – West, Center and East. Each of the three sections has its own entrances and exits. Flexibility3, as we put it!

Sustainability was a top priority for the architects of the redesign, and the CCH hopes to receive a Gold Certificate from the German Society for Sustainable Construction (DGNB). Needless to mention, the entire complex is barrier-free.

Situated in the central part of the city, the CCH – Congress Center Hamburg is as attractive as it has always been – a true world-class convention center. The CCH is conveniently located in the heart of the city. And, perfect for breaks and intermissions: The CCH – Congress Center Hamburg is directly adjacent to Hamburg’s famous Planten un Blomen park.
