With a total area of 36,000 square meters, it is one of Europe’s largest convention centers.

The number 12,000 has a special meaning at the CCH: 12,000 square meters of event space. 12,000 square meters of foyer space. And 12,000 visitors who can attend events at the CCH simultaneously. Its up to 50 multifunctional halls for conventions and events of any kind with 500 attendees or more are spread across four levels and three event sections – West, Central and East. Each of the three sections has its own entrances and exits. Flexibility3, as we put it! Not only that, it is also sustainable and barrier-free.

The CCH – Congress Center Hamburg has received Gold certification from the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB). This is the highest-level DGNB sustainability certification awarded to an existing convention building to date.
