GCB German Convention Bureau launches new campaign

Frankfurt, 16 April 2020

Looking ahead at “post-coronavirus” times, the GCB German Convention Bureau has launched its new #MeetGermanyFromHome campaign to support the country’s event community and showcase destination Germany using new formats and inspiring content.

The bi-lingual English and German social media campaign enables cities, venues, hotels and other meeting and event suppliers to share updates, news and new initiatives on Twitter and Instagram, with a focus on offers for the second half of 2020 and 2021. “Events are all about building communities and now more than ever, it is vital that we support and maintain our own community of great meetings and event professionals. This is why we launched the #MeetGermanyFromHome campaign to help our partners with marketing in these difficult times and work together on being best prepared for when things return to a ‘new normal’,” comments GCB managing director Matthias Schultze. Running over the next weeks and months, the entire #MeetGermanyFromHome campaign content of the campaign will be curated and shared at the end to provide maximum exposure for the participating partners.
