We’re all different: what kind of (event) attendee type are you?

In the events sector, the days of the “one size fits all” approach are well and truly over. What matters for you when you’re attending conferences, trade fairs and events? And what’s important for others? Take part in our survey to find out!

Taking part in business events is part and parcel of our lives. Despite or maybe precisely because of the advancements in digitisation, face-to-face meetings, conferences and trade fairs still play an important role in our professional life. However, attendees experience events very differently and what suits one, doesn’t work for another. A lot depends on how organisers plan, market and implement an event for it to meet your personal needs.

Ever been totally bored at a meeting?

Everyone learns differently. Some only need to look at something and understand it. Others need to try everything in order to get to grips with it. Methodologies and technologies used strongly influence how much you benefit from an event, what kind of new contacts you establish or what you can learn.

Your personal experience matters

Events revolve around their attendees. They are at the centre of everything happening. When was the last time that you felt well and truly inspired by an event? And what where you most enthusiastic about then?

These are the things that we’d like to find out as part of our research project “Future Meeting Space”: We’re currently conducting an online survey with the aim of gaining a better understanding of all the different types of attendees, so that events can be improved and you, ultimately, benefit more from attending them.

The survey is all about you, as someone attending events. So, take part and answer our questions! We very much look forward to your input!
