Maritim Hotels Ramp Up Their Presence & People in the US Market to Better Cater to North American Buyers & Planners
Maritim Hotels, with 50 locations in Europe, Egypt and China (with 36 properties in Germany alone), has been a key part of the German hotel scene since the late 1960s. Today it is one of the most popular chains in Germany for its quality of meeting space & lodging, convenient locations in leading destinations, and great dining.
It is, however, lesser known in North America where it has no properties –though some partnerships – so it’s working to grow awareness and increase service for US meeting planners.
To help with this, two new senior sales people have been hired for Maritim’s US sales office, based in Princeton, NJ, building on the location’s 8 year track record of year-to-year growth with North American clients, and further extending the team’s meetings and hotel expertise with brands such as the Ritz Carlton, Hyatt, and Hilton.
Maritim has also signed on to be one of the limited number of partners to participate in a new, three year US sales and marketing program by the German Convention Bureau, aimed at getting the word on these partners out more broadly and creating new relationships and connections in the US and Canada.
