GCB Wild Card Exhibitors at IMEX in Frankfurt: Shining examples of German Meetings Innovation
You may have recently seen the US News & World Report article ranking Germany as the top country globally to live and work in. Innovation plays a large role in this distinction, and it’s also a big reason why people meet in Germany.
As part of this dedication to innovation, the German Convention Bureau has named our two Wild Cards winners for IMEX in Frankfurt 2016 which include:
conichi -- an app out of Berlin that connects guests and the hotel team from the moment a guest arrives on property to the moment they depart.. Developed by Hotel Beacons, conichi uses beacon technology to display guests’ personal preferences on tablets held at reception. This allows the hotel team to not only be responsive but proactive around things like food allergies, favorite room amenities and late checkout.
Percuma – this modern and sustainable conference and event venue is situated between Frankfurt and Wiesbaden and set to open this May. With meeting spaces across three floors, the venue has 10 different room combinations. It’s design is inspired by Bauhaus (a German art school known for creating clean, modern styles that harmonize form and function) and features abundant natural light, leading edge technology, a stage, and even cooking stations. Delegates also enjoy the large garden space with a beach volleyball court and outdoor kitchen.
In addition to meeting these Wild Card victors, visitors to the Germany booth at IMEX in Frankfurt also have their choice of connecting with over 200 other top notch partners for their planning needs. Hotels, conference centers, city marketing organizations, event agencies and other service providers will all be there from Berlin, Bonn, Cologne, Darmstadt, Dresden, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Munich, Nuremberg, Stuttgart , Wiesbaden and more. GCB strategic partners Deutsche Bahn and Lufthansa will also be featured.
We hope to see you there!
