Green meetings:
It is not only nature that appears particularly green in and around Kassel... conferences, congresses and other events can also be implemented in a sustainable and environmentally friendly way here. In order to satisfy the increasing requirements of conference clients with regard to "green meetings", a large number of conference centres, event venues, conference hotels and restaurants are committed to sustainability and subscribe to the "fairpflichtet" codex. The Kongress Palais, which has also been certified with the Green Globe, plays a pioneering role here. In addition to the CO2-neutral arrival with the Deutsche Bahn congress ticket, the procedure on-site is also extremely environmentally friendly and comfortable: trams run on hydroelectric power and modern Regiotrams flawlessly link the region to the city. For sporty conference participants, the Konrad bicycle hire system is available with around 500 bicycles at 50 stations in the city.
