Frankfurt am Main: The Ideal Destination for Business Events

Over the years, Frankfurt has managed to establish itself as one of the premier destinations in Germany for holding business events. Thanks to its central location, convenient traffic and transport connections and an ever-increasing variety of conference and event venues, the city is able to offer event organizers ideal preconditions for congresses, conferences, corporate functions, networking events and more. Aside from a wide variety of tried-and-tested conference centers and congress hotels, Frankfurt also features countless new and inspiring event locations.
New and Unusual Event Locations
Having opened in September 2024, the Upper East Site in Frankfurt’s East End district impresses with three light-flooded event areas and a spacious rooftop terrace, the latter offering guests unobstructed views of the city’s skyline and the surrounding green environs. For conferences, the location is able to comfortably accommodate 200 persons, while overall it offers capacity for events of up to 500 persons.
Another event location featuring panoramic skyline views is the Kreisler. Opened in October 2024, the venue is situated near Frankfurt’s main train station. It is the second location of the “place to be” event organizers, the other being an equally modern venue located in the Westend Tower high above Frankfurt’s rooftops. The Kreisler offers space for up to 130 persons in row seating as well as a large rooftop terrace, perfect for outdoor coffee breaks and the like.
The Grace Studiobar is yet another excellent location for hosting conferences and business meetings. Having opened in 2024, it is situated halfway between the cities of Frankfurt and Offenbach. Its loft-style character and state-of-the-art furnishings combine to offer event planners the perfect framework for smaller events of up to 50 persons seated, or cocktail receptions for up to 100 persons.

Centrally situated in downtown Frankfurt, spaces mgt. GmbH has been in charge of marketing the ballroom of the famous Palais Frankfurt for several years. Since the start of 2025, they've also been tasked with managing the “Beletage” and the “Kuppelsaal” – or “domed hall” –, both being superbly suited for receptions and smaller meetings. Added to the "Momentum" ballroom, which is able to accommodate up to 400 persons in row seating, these event spaces combine to provide an excellent range of options for anyone seeking to host memorable events held in stylish, historical settings.
In June 2025, memox — provider of creative meeting and event locations — opens a further location in Frankfurt. This one is some 1,100 square meters in size and situated in immediate proximity of the Messe Frankfurt fairgrounds. The location’s four rooms may be booked individually or in combination, offering event space for up to 200 persons.
Those looking for a modern location with plenty of industrial charm will find the Maindock to be an excellent selection. Spread out over 700 square meters, the venue is able to accommodate events of up to 250 persons. Moreover, it convinces with first-class service as well as sustainable in-house catering.
New Hotels for Unique Events
Frankfurt’s hotel landscape is growing at an equally impressive rate. The first Germany-based hotel of the Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants brand — the Kimpton Main Frankfurt — opened its doors in March 2025. At home in the brand-new FOUR FRANKFURT high-rise complex, the hotel is the latest addition to Frankfurt’s imposing skyline, impressing with a blend of high-end luxury and modern comfort. A total of 155 guest-rooms, various bars and restaurants as well as three event studios offer ideal preconditions for workshops, seminars and casual get-togethers.
Opened in July 2024, the Lyf East Frankfurt is an excellent option for small-scale business meetings of up to ten persons. Situated in Frankfurt’s East End, the hotel disposes over a light-flooded meeting room, some 53 square meters in size, and over 100 ultra-modern, beautifully designed guest-rooms of two separate categories.

Meanwhile, the second part of the year will see the return of one of Frankfurt’s most iconic accommodation establishments: THE FLORENTIN, formerly known as Villa Kennedy, will be celebrating its grand reopening in September 2025 as part of the Althoff COLLECTION group of hotels. The luxury-category hotel will be offering sophisticated guests some 147 guest-rooms and suites, including the lavish “Royal Suite” with its 320 square meters of floor space.
Close by, the Kennedy 89 will also be opening during the course of 2025. Featuring 180 guest-rooms and 130 square meters of event space, the hotel will be excellently suited for meetings and conferences of most every size and variety.
Those seeking a venue away from the hustle and bustle of the big city will find the Wald.Weit Rheingau Hotel & Retreat in Kiedrich to be an excellent option. Opened in February 2025, the hotel is approximately a 45-minute drive from Frankfurt and combines luxury, sustainability and scenic green surrounds. The hotel’s event level features panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, state-of-the-art audiovisual technology and space for events of up to 199 persons.
