Adele: A Megastar in Munich
In August, Adele thrilled her fans with a unique series of concerts at the northern outdoor area of Messe München. The stage, which was specially designed for her, was used a total of ten times and set new records with its gigantic dimensions.
Adele's only European date in 2024 generated excitement and headlines. The visual presentation of the live performances on the 220-meter-long video wall was marveled at, as was the perfect sound in the concert coliseum. With its size, the video wall broke the Guinness World Record.
The stage, which was as large as 60 football pitches, attracted almost 74,000 fans per concert and dominated the global media landscape. Around the stadium, visitors were offered dozens of food stands, bars, live entertainment on various stages, beer gardens, beach bars and a true-to-life English pub. A carousel and a Ferris wheel provided additional fun before and after the concerts.

In addition to its ideal infrastructure and good connections to the airport and the city center, the city of Munich offers a high density of research institutions, which makes it particularly attractive for medical events.
Several major congresses were scheduled for 2024. From May 25 to 27, 2024, the ESAIC-Euroanesthesia Congress, one of the world's largest congresses for anesthetists, took place at the ICM - International Congress Center Messe München. From September 4 to 6, 2024, the SECEC Congress was hosted by Messe München for the first time. The congress specializes in shoulder and elbow surgery and rehabilitation measures.
A special highlight was the AIDS conference from July 22 to 26. More than 10,000 participants from over 175 countries came to Munich to discuss strategies for containing HIV and AIDS.
