BMW Provides Presents for company’s 100th Anniversary
In addition to the new meeting space, the BMW Group Event Forum also includes the BMW Welt and the BMW Museum. These two facilities have 20 different event areas and hold 500 professional events a year. The BMW Welt is one of the most modern symbols of the city and one of its most visited attractions. The BMW Welt Museum showcases the 100-year history of the BMW brand and displays 125 of the most valuable BMW cars, motorcycles and engines. The new meeting space, the BWM Group Classic is listed as a site of historic importance and can accommodate up to 30 people in each of 3 workshop rooms and 400 people in the aircraft engine hall. The vehicle exhibition gallery area is also home to 80 exhibits from the company’s 100-year history.
Meeting planners can easily wow their attendees with customizable experiences—like exclusive tours of the historic collection, the workshop and 100-year room. Additionally the staff at BMW Group Classic is also available to give private talks on the history of the company and its three brands, BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce. They are passionate about the company and have expertise in the preservation and restoration of the brand’s historic automobile and motorcycles.
Perhaps the best way for attendees to experience Germany automotive innovation first hand is to get behind the wheel. BMW on Demand makes it easy for participants attending events at its Group Classic sites to lease various BMW models such as the M3 or the BMW i8 by the hour or by the day. Another easy way meeting planners can create lasting memories of their event is to offer safety training or driving in hazardous conditions classes for their attendees staffed by expert BMW instructors.
