Berlin’s Think Tank Culture Proves an Ideal Fit for 2015 Global Social Business Summit Headed by Nobel Peace Prize Winner
Tackling the global challenge of creating new, growth-geared jobs while also serving the most pressing needs of our world, the 7th Global Social Business Summit will take place for the first time in Berlin -- November 5-6, 2015.
The respected conference, headed by Nobel Peace Prize winner and author Professor Muhammad Yunus and his creative consultant Hans Reitz, will bring over 1,000 experts and decision makers from 70 countries together for discussion and collaboration.
“Social Business,” a new model developed by Professor Yunus, is a different form of capitalism that creates a company to address a social problem and is self-sustaining (vs. profit making). This new approach is being offered up by Yunus as a worldwide driver for converting unemployment into entrepreneurship - especially for young talent.
Berlin’s reputation as a highly creative, entrepreneurial and start-up rich area makes it an ideal fit for this topic and event.
The conference is organized by The Grameen Creative Lab in Germany and the Yunus Centre in Bangladesh in partnership with visit Berlin.
