Green just got greener ...


Green or sustainable meetings have long been possible all year round in Germany.

Indeed they are a very popular and enduring trend. Green meetingsare defined as "meetings, which integrate environmentally friendly concepts at every phase of planning in order to minimise damage to the environment".

The German Convention Bureau has made implementing green meetings in the convention and congress scene one of its key goals.

After all, making a meeting "green" is much easier than many people imagine: our

a film
and our CO2 calculator

explain how it can be done.

And at the next Green Meetings and Events Conference in February 2013 everyone interested in sending a green signal within the events industry will be able to find out more, exchange ideas, get to know each other...
