In November 2005 UNESCO added Berlin to its "Creative Cities Network" within the framework of the "Global Alliance for Cultural Diversity".

Berlin is now the first European "UNESCO City of Design" and continues the tradition of the Golden '20s. Today, Germany's capital profits not only from the mixture of design, architecture, art and culture but also from the thrill of constant change.
