A Zest for Life and Culture

Since the 19th century, visitors have been drawn to the romanticism and many-faceted cultural offerings of the Rhineland.  Today the cosmopolitan city of Cologne lights up with the Rhinelanders’ zest for life. After meeting at the Congress Centrum Cologne or the medieval Guerzenich, a historic hall equipped with all the comforts, those with a desire for adventure can clamber atop the roof of the Cologne cathedral, where either the view or the height will take their breath away.

Bonn, known as the home of Beethoven, is also the former seat of the German federal government.  The steel and glass former plenary chamber, situated on the Rhine is one of the most beautiful plenary buildings in the world and is today a highly desirable venue for meetings. The crowning conclusion to a visit here is a boat ride on the Rhine.

Near Bonn is Duesseldorf, the Rhineland’s capital of fashion and IT. The city’s unusual combination of art and commerce is well demonstrated by events held in Museum K21, complete with fireworks and music.
