Hamburg and Northern Germany:

Incentives in Germany
Open to the World

Germany’s gateway to the world is Hamburg.  A major port city, Hamburg has played a major role in European history as a member of the Hanseatic League.  Today, Hamburg enjoys a reputation for sophistication and flair, more bridges than Venice, and world-class cultural opportunities. In addition to one of Europe’s largest conference centers, Hamburg has a wealth of venues including the old city, Speicherstadt and Ballinstadt, for an authentic view of emigration of Europeans to America at the turn of the 20th century. A city tour through the metropolis will introduce you to the fascinating history of this proud Hanseatic city.

Northern Magnets for Economics, Science and Culture

The Center for Air and Space Travel draws many visitors to Bremen,
Famous today as a center for air and space travel, the 1,200-year-old Hanseatic city of Bremen is also home to the Bremen Rathaus, a UNESCO world Heritage Site dating back to the Renaissance as well as the brewery for the famed Beck’s Pilsner beer. For a night out, enjoy the theater on the shores of the Ostsee in nearby Luebeck, birthplace of Thomas Mann and the world’s best marzipan.
