Culinary Night-watchman patrol. In 1913 when the last nightwatchman made his rounds through the city, a nearly 250-year-old tradition ended. For a few years now, the night-watchman patrols have again been wandering through the dark streets and presenting Osnabrück to you in candlelight. These city tours by night are provided with culinary stations according to your wishes – have the courses of your meal at three different locations or surprise your participants simply with a warming drink in a historic fortified tower.Your night-watchman escorts you and knows the most exciting stories about all the places in the old part of the city.

Backstage. Theatre, opera, dance – the numerous stages of Osnabrück leave nothing to be desired. The municipal theatre has two venues, the off-scene presents puppet and improvisation theatre as well as contemporary pieces and own productions. If you want to be more than only spectator, talk to us about your personal bill of fare. Take a glance behind the scenes, get a taste of the props, talk to actors and directors, follow a rehearsal? In Osnabrück, dreams come true!

Cooking event deluxe. At the beginning, in an informal atmosphere, there is an aperitif and finger food. After donning aprons and chef’s hats, the participants create their own deluxe menu under competent guidance. For each step of the preparation, there are valuable tips and informations on the ingredients. That the finest ingredients, professional equipment and a glass of wine are included goes without saying. Cooking together is the ideal instrument for team building and guarantees an unforgettable experience!

Taste Whisky, Wine and more. Savouring with all senses directly from the wood. Spoil your palate with freshly drawn off specialities. Experience a tasting of a particular kind in a mediterranean flair: select wines, old whiskies, fine fruit schnappses or grappe, delicate balsamic vinegars or oils. For the evening fill we gladly serve food, which is carefully matched with these fine wines.

Cocktails. Mixing cocktails together can be the grand finale to a conference, the impressive start of an evening function or a relaxing way of ending a day. A professional barkeeper mixes classic or unusual, trendy and, of course, also virgin cocktails. You gain insight into mixing techniques and learn interesting facts about the variety of ingredients. Whether with five or 50 participants, this program is tailored to your wishes. Ask us about the appropriate location for your event!

Hops, malt and yeast. At this brewery seminar you can brew your own beer. Along with this you of course get lots of fun and the experience as a team. You actively experience the beer culture within a programme that leads you through all the processes of beer manufacturing. You are challenged in an entertaining way by beer tastings of the different stages of maturity and by setting your hand to work in the storage cellar. A quiz tops the evening off and the winner is nominated as master brewer. Enjoy the rest of the evening with a home-brewed beer and a traditional meal.

Murder between knife and fork.We give you goose bumps! At this unforgettable thriller event as a live-theatre spectacular, an inspiring feast easily detracts from the actual event. But the participants have to be alert – the incredible happens in front of everbody’s eyes… and the cold case has to be solved by the audience! If you prefer a bitter treat for the ears during dinner, listen to a theatrical reading between courses. The stories from the cult book “Murder between Knife and Fork” create a thrill. The tension is increased even more by accompanying accordion music.

Spy casting. After the arrival of the guests and the champagne reception, the audience takes to their seats, the lights go out, the show begins: My name is ... The presenter introduces the judges after a short warm up, then the casting begins. One by one the candidates, chosen from the group of participants beforehand, have to prove their spy qualities. Obviously there has to be shootings as well, because a real Bond does not just have to convince the judges, but also has to be able to handle a weapon, in this case, a special model from the workshop “Q”. The obligatory hat throw, a meeting with Mrs. Moneypenny and the car chase afterwards show which candidate is truely born to be a spy. At the awards ceremony “The Golden Eye” is presented. Make your conference dinner a real adventure with this programme! The menu courses are served between the rounds.

2000 years of the Varus Battle. The Romans had imagined it differently when they started their countermarch back to their winter camp at the Rhine in the autumn of 9 A.D. Germania was largely pacified and the domestic tribes seemed to be getting used to the new rulers – but the troops around Governor Publius Quintilius Varus would never reach the hot thermal baths in the quarters. Germanic warriers lured them into an ambush and put an temporarily end to the Roman siege. In the Varus Battle, three legions, three units of auxiliary cavalry and six cohorts as well as many others such as slaves, women and children were massacred in the region of today’s Osnabrück countryside. The battle is a fascinating part of Osnabrück’s history. The architecture of the museum is widely considered unique and was honoured many times by experts. The highlight of the building, made exclusively from steel is the 40 metre high tower, which gives visitors a breathtaking view over the park and excavation terrain. In the new permanent exhibition in the Museum and Park Kalkriese you can experience history at first hand. Ask us for your individual Varus-program!
