Heidelberg Palace and Neuschwanstein Palace are the most famous of Germany’s representative palaces worldwide. Historic rooms, cellars and palatial squares may be rented in Heidelberg for evening events for up to 2,000 persons. Only a short distance from Heidelberg is Schwetzingen Palace – a veritable masterpiece of both palatial and of regal park architecture. In the past years spectacular museum structures have emerged which convey the mythos and history of automobile manufacture in Germany in a novel, interesting and refreshing manner. Attractive event areas for rental were already envisaged at the planning stages. Professional service and modern facilities are a pre-requisite. The BMW Museum in Munich offers space for varying demands and requirements in its ‘Museum Foyer’, ‘BMW Square’ and ‘Museumsschlüssel’. Award ceremonies and product presentations are held here along with parties, receptions, artistic performances, fashion shows and VJ Nights.
Events of all kinds and descriptions may be staged and held on different floor levels of the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart - even open-air on Level 8. Porsche has incorporated only the highest standards in its new museum in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen. An exclusive event area is located on the top floor. This may be let for events independent of the museum’s daily opening times.
Architecture creates events
The art of design has always fascinated people throughout the ages. Spectacular buildings were popular meeting places in former times. Today is certainly no exception to that rule. There are many examples in Germany where special architectural creations and structures are available and serve as event venues. A pertinent example of such is the Liederhalle Culture and Congress Centre in Stuttgart. Opened in 1956, this is still considered one of the most important cultural structures of post-World War II Germany. The unusual architecture and the superb acoustic quality of this conference and concert venue with seating for up to 6,000 persons is still exemplary..jpg)
Completely new standards have also been set by the axica Congress and Conference Centre on Berlin’s Pariser Platz. Unprepossessing from the outside, the breathtaking inner architecture of star Anerican architect Frank O. Gehry astounds visitors even more so from within. Not for nothing does it belong to the most popular event locations in the German capital.
The darmstadtium in Darmstadt with its avant-garde architecture has also established itself as a top address for corporate presentations, events, culture and concerts.
The Medien Hafen (Media Harbour) in Düsseldorf has established new standards for urban re-development and modern architecture. Events of the highest standard are held in and around these stunning Frank O. Gehry buildings. The Fashion Fair, along with many companies and other international organisers, regularly avails of the possibilities this attractive ensemble has to offer.

The Kaisersall (Emperor’s Hall), Römerhallen and Gothic cellar area are popular venues for exclusive events in an historic context. Celebrations, festivities and meetings are held where once President Breschnew, Queen Elisabeth II, Yassir Arafat and President Bill Clinton stopped by to write post-war German history.
The Petersburg State Guest House near Bonn also has a very special charisma owing to its superb location and interesting history.
The German Industry and Trade Assembly was established in 1918 in the Congress House in Heidelberg. Today it is a venue for innovations exchanges, international symposia and the general assemblies of global concerns. It is also a popular venue for large cultural events.
