Top Events

The Oktoberfest in Munich is legendary and world-famous. After the festival is opened with the traditional cry of "O'zapft is" (the barrel is tapped) from mid-September to the beginning of October, the event reigns over the state of affairs. However, Germany offers a multitude of more top events which are certainly suitable within the scope of your next conference or incentive.

How would it be, for example, with a Formula 1 Race at the Hockenheimring or with a visit to the "Rhine in Flames - Festival", which takes place in May every year. Or the Documenta in Kassel? Every five years from all over the world people interested in arts meet at this world´s most important exhibition of contemporary art. (This year the Documenta takes place from 16.06.-23.09.2007)

And last but not least one has to experience the legendary Cologne Carnival in Cologne.

 

Almost every German city organises a so-called long night of museums or a music festival once a year - whether classical or pop - A huge variety of events is offered all year round throughout the country. One of the leading music festivals in Europe, e.g., the Rhinegau Music Festival attracts visitors to the whole region every year. Also Rock am Ring is renown among the biggest rock festivals in Europe.
