Munich: Historic Schrannenhalle and Der Pschorr

The reconstructed historic Schrannenhalle (www.schrannenhalle.de) – is a glass-covered market-hall dating back to the mid-19th century – situated on Munich’s famous Viktualienmarkt (meat, fruit and vegetable market) in the heart of the city centre. It offers 500 m² for exclusive presentations, congresses, conferences, galas, incentives and various trade fair events. It has been open for business once again since the beginning of September 2005.

The stylish Theresiensaal in the upper floor of the Der Pschorr restaurant nearby offers a wonderful view of the Viktualienmarkt with the towers of Munich’s old city centre looming in the background. It has capacity for 200 persons and may be divided into two separate large rooms by means of mobile dividing walls. The restaurant’s vaulted cellar, with 60 places, is also an ideal location for rustic-style dinners and events.
