Steigenberger celebrates its 75th Anniversary at the Steigenberger Frankfurter Hof

500 guests attended the Steigenberger Hotels 75th Anniversary gala celebration on 17th September 2005 in the Steigenberger Frankfurter Hof hotel. Many prominent personalities from the worlds of business, politics and media came along to celebrate the company’s success along with numerous members of the Steigenberger family.

Steigenberger Hotels AG based in Frankfurt am Main, operates 77 hotels in Germany, Austria, Holland, Switzerland and Egypt. Together with the German railway company Deutsche Bahn it also offers comfortable hotels located next to transport hubs such as main railway stations and large airports - a combination of city centre locations and optimum transport connections, fully equipped for business purposes at moderate prices.

1,000 conferences in the Congress Center Frankfurt

The Congress Center Frankfurt has another good reason to celebrate after its very successful year in 2004: the 1,000th event since centre opened its doors 1996 began on 30th September 2005 - the 22nd Congress of the German Language Working Group for Arthroskopie (AGA). Experts from six countries discussed new methods for optimisation and quality control.

136 events with 108,000 visitors were recorded in 2004 at the Congress Center Frankfurt. The event trio - Congress Center, Forum and Festhalle (Festival Hall) provide space for up to 18,000 people in total. The adjoining trade fair halls have additional capacities for events of every conceivable size.

Around 100 events on average per annum are held at the Congress Center Frankfurt.
