meta-fusion awarded major UN Climate Secretariat contract

The Cologne-based service provider meta-fusion GmbH has succeeded in its bid for a major UN Climate Secretariat (UNFCCC) contract. The multi-media agency will produce webcasts of UNFCCC conferences and working sessions held over the coming three years within the context of the Kyoto process.

meta-fusion will transmit these events live and in several languages per video streaming via internet both to a worldwide public and to international observers. The broadcasts will also be available on the same day and at the click of a button as on- demand videos.

The largest of the UNFCCC conferences last up to ten days, have up to 6,000 participants and take place two to three times per annum in Bonn.

The availability of an online video archive together with live transmissions has become part and parcel of UNFCCC communications. It is a comfortable medium and a useful source for relevant material not only for press and expert observers from all over the world but also for UNFCCC staff.

Internet video presentation is a very efficient way to present useful contents to a broad public. It is not only a multimedia tool but it can also provide a lively platform for dialogue between sponsors, participants and other interested parties.

meta-fusion GmbH, founded in 2000, specializes in internet video (streaming) and multimedia presentations for MICE events.

meta-fusion GmbH is a GCB member.
