Meeting Newsletter für Deutschland

Dear Readers,

The figures presented in the 'Meeting & Event Barometer 2008' are very clear: the demand for events in Germany is continually rising!  And all the people involved here in Germany are taking this welcome trend very much to heart - in terms of both organisation and infrastructure.

The city of Cologne is a very good example, launching its very own Convention Bureau on 1st August 2008 in order to consolidate its network by extending its reach to an even greater variety of meetings and events decision-makers. The lesson for MICE planners is: they now have a one-stop-shop for all their meetings and events enquiries in the culture and congress metropolis of Cologne.

Meanwhile the Berlin congress agency pcma has launched an exciting new chapter for the conference and meetings business both at home and abroad with its IMPACT Workshop. German suppliers will hold focussed discussions with European decision-makers over a period of two days - Business Speed Dating inclusive. The premiere of the 'IMPACT workshop: meetings industry Germany 2009' will occur on January 29th 2009 in the Grand Hotel Heiligendamm. The organisers promise: no building-up stands, no distributing brochure material, no time-wasting - just business!

We call that: 'Efficiency made in Germany' and wish you a very successful MICE autumn!
