Meetings Newsletter for Germany
We would like to take this opportunity of wishing you a successful business year in 2007, above all in Germany. German exports are presently at a record high, the balance of trade is well in the plus, the stock exchange is bustling with confidence, GNP is growing steadily once again, and visitor numbers are still on the rise. Investment and confidence in the German congress, meetings, events and hotel sectors is also running at an all-time high.
Your plans and projects for 2007 are probably already well under way. We hope to compliment these with lots of new ideas and fresh impetus: from congress centre and hotel developments, attractive locations for corporate meetings, to insider tips for memorable incentive travel programmes. We also look forward to assisting and supporting you in your congress, conference, meetings, seminars and events organisation and planning in Germany.
The GCB has, it is worth noting, been offering hotels an opportunity to avail of group GCB membership for some months now. We are delighted to announce that 24 GCB Preferred Partner Maritim Hotels have taken advantage of this attractive offer.
We are delighted that in addition to Maritim Hotels also Seven Centers of Germany and m:con are still one of our GCB Preferred Partners. We would also like to welcome our new ‚Member in Focus’ – Region Stuttgart and MCI Germany and we are grateful to count the Karlsruher Messe- und Kongress-GmbH as GCB sponsor.
With all good wishes for 2007!
Your, GCB team
